What We Do
Doha provides liberatory coaching for individuals and groups by offering one on one coaching support to people navigating leadership challenges and career transitions. Doha works with organizations and social justice movements to move into alignment with their liberatory values.
Land and Labor Acknowledgement I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Muscogee Creek peoples. I recognize and honor our ancestors of African descent whose spirits, labor, resilience, and joy are also deeply connected to these Lands. While I acknowledge the entwined legacies of continued settler occupation and anti-blackness as they persist today, I follow the tradition of resilience practiced by my ancestors: to continue to work for healing, justice, and liberation.
I not only recognize these peoples and lands, my work in this coaching practice, together with my coach partners, is an attempt to re-indigenize (whether that is to the traditions of our ancestors on this land or the lands of africa, mexico, guatemala, Palestine, philippines, Hawai’i, Puerto Rico, syria, pakistan, india and many others.
So I invite you, even if, if you do not know the names of those nations, those people, groups to simply acknowledge not only the past, but the present and for seven generations forward, that those who take care of the lands and waters, will be blessed. And those that they touch will be blessed. And those whom they touch will be blessed through our prayers and our acknowledgement. I extend deep gratitude and reverence to all those who came before me and all those that will come after me.
